Millions of enthusiastic spectators and more than 500 participating athletes, stuntmen and technical employees commonly stand for the 27-year record of success of Europe’s only professional water stunt show.

Since the opening in spring 1983 the Aqua Stadium in the Holiday Park builds the centre of interest for especially “sparkling” entertainment year after year.

For the visitors in the aqua stadium it is no secret that the water stunt show productions of the Holiday Park are special “treasures” of entertainment, which are worth while being discovered again each year.

The water stunt show of the Holiday Park has already been honoured with several prizes and awards, among others in 2004 by the International Association of Amusement Parks & Attractions (IAAPA) with the “Big-E Award – best sport show worldwide”. Due to the enormous popularity and effect on the public the annually changing stunt show productions in the aqua stadium made an essential contribution to the overall success of the Holiday Park during the past two and a half years.

The screenplay of the current show, JIM POND, was again written by the American director and successful producer Greg Dolph. Together with water-ski athletes from the USA, Canada and Germany he created a fascinating interactive sport and stunt show, which of course, in addition to a lot of sporting highlights, presents the world-famous “athlete pyramid”.
