The must-ride of Holiday Park. This corkscrew coaster is an absolute cult-attraction among coaster enthusiasts. Built in 1979, it was the first corkscrew coaster in a German amusement park. Since its opening, "Superwirbel" has taken over 30 million riders through the 23-meters tall double spirals. The two trains of "Superwirbel" travel at a speed of 80 km/h and are controlled by 16 brake systems and 30 electronic cameras.

"Superwirbel" became famous in 1982 when Richard Rodriguez conducted his roller coaster record of 384 hours on it. 21 years later, Rodriguez returned to incorporate "Superwirbel" in his two coaster Guinness Book world
record of 49 days - day and night.
