"Expedition GeForce", "Thunder River" or "Free Fall Tower" – many times Holiday Park, located in the Rhineland-palatine village of Hassloch, is the first entertainment Park in Germany introducing new attractions, shows and events. Numerous awards given to Holiday Park, e.g. from the "International Laser Display Association" (ILDA) and the worldwide entertainment association "International Association of Amusement Parks & Attractions" (IAAPA) to the "Golden Ticket Award" of "Amusement Today"-magazine, demonstrate impressively that the big entertainment and adventure park in the middle of Germany sets standards.

World record on Free Fall Tower
In 1998 Gerd Rehbein and Wolf Tiemeier of Essen experienced the free fall to infinity. Eight hours in a row Europe’s first Free Fall Tower pulled them up 370 times before they rushed back towards the ground. This extreme experience was rewarded with an entry in the Guinness book of world records.
